2017 Maker Faire
February 25, 2017
2nd Annual Maker Faire at Glendale Community College, sponsored by the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers. Exhibits ranged from student projects, employers and vendors, and independent makers of all ages. Focus areas were engineering, technology, architecture, science, and art. Keynote address was given by engineers from the Jet Propulsion Laboratory. A number of hands-on workshops were led by SHPE, JPL, and Boeing. Participants had the chance to tour GCC engineering and manufacturing labs.
